I am counting down the days till I fly to Denver and get this pesky hernia fixed!!!! I cant wait till I can walk straight from this hernia and not have to lie down every hour and put it back in!!!!! I know tmi!!!!!
Since I got back from Denver and Chicago I have been having issues with it.....

Good Morning Carla and OFF Family,
I empathize, Carla, with the hernia. When I had my RNY six years ago, my surgeon did it open. I developed an incisional hernia, which hurt and made me pretty miserable, about one year out. Doc operated on it, and put in mesh. So far, it's held up.
Today, I'll head over to my AA meeting. From there, I am heading to the agency to fax my resume to a mental health agency for a part time job as a therapist. I had done it about six years ago, and loved it. Then, this afternoon, I am scheduled for four hours of volunteer work. Tonight, I am settling in for my Phillies game.

Today I am at work, hopefully the day flies by, planning on an AA meeting at lunchtime and then this evening where I will meet up with some good friends.

Hi Carla and my OFF family:
I got called into work last night ... my boss' girlfriend was sick and he had to stay with her ... she also had WLS but has had a lot of complications. Not sure how long out she is, but she has been in out of hospitals. Anyway, I will have Saturday off instead ... no OT anymore, not at all.
We had some rain last night, much needed. Still hot, but only 84 degrees now, going up to 95. A little cooler than it has been.
Carla, hope you can get your hernia fixed at last.
I am getting together for lunch today with Michelle, who used to post here. She's really nice. I enjoyed my last lunch with her and looking forward to seeing her again.

I hate not having Internet at home! And when I go out I forget to bring the laptop!! I pick up a neighbors WIfi to minimally operate this thing but it wont let me post! An invite to supper once in a while pays a bachelor dude who doesn't cook back for the use of his air waves! I am not sneak thief!

Benny is down for his nap, so just a quick pop-in to say hi! We had a great time in Austin last night, but we didn't get home until 1 a.m. I'm a little pooped today! The Sound of Music was wonderful, of course, and my cousin was really, really good! I'd forgotten what a great actor he is. Best performer on the stage, IMHO. LOL!
So much to do this afternoon. I'd better make hay while the baby sleeps.
